New project: GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT)

New project: GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT)

I am the developer of an open source project called the Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT). The java-based software is actively under development, and installed in dozens of institutions worldwide. The tool allows an institution to publish and share its biodiversity data so that it can be accessed freely and openly through the Global Biodiversity Information Facility Data Portal: http://data.gbif.org

The project is hosted on Google Code: http://code.google.com/p/gbif-providertoolkit/ SVN access see: http://code.google.com/p/gbif-providertoolkit/source/checkout

The GUI was originally written in English, and then translated into French, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese - see ApplicationResources_XX.properties files here: http://code.google.com/p/gbif-providertoolkit/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fgbif-ipt%2Fsrc%2Fmain%2Fresources

I am now interested in adding a translation in Brazilian Portugese. I am hoping that translateWiki will be a convenient platform to coordinate a group of existing volunteer translators.

Can I kindly request that this project be added?

Thanks

I've done a quick review in version repo. We're having a discussion there.

It has been a couple weeks since hearing from you. Will it be possible to add my project now, or do you still require more changes from me? Thanks

Siebrand is travelling in these weeks, he may be slower than usual.

Thanks for the reply. Should I wait for Siebrand, or is there someone else who can help import my project?

Hello Kbraak, if your format is supported I suggest you submit a patch yourself to start with, see an example and the docs at mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Group configuration.
