Waiting times for enabling a language and enabling for export to MediaWiki

Is it possible to rearrange priorities to reduce the waiting times for enabling a language for translation? Southern Luri for example has been waiting for 3 months. I am afraid that these long waits can cause the language community to lose momentum on their projects, which will usually be Wikimedia incubator projects. The same applies to the wait for enabling export to MediaWiki when the export threshold has been met. Are there ways that we can organise this work to minimise the amount of time that the expert staff need to spend on this?

Things have been hectic. It should be considered a glitch that this happened.

Aside from that, adding new language codes isn't something we (I) take lightly. It does take some time and research, because I'd like to do it right the first time.
