[[WikiReader:Pedia:wiki name/en]]

I suspect that this message is like WikiReader:Wiki name/en, where the documentation says you have to change "English" to the name of the language you're translating into. If that is the case, then about half of the existing translations are wrong. (If not, the other half is wrong.)

This thread should be moved to Translating_talk:WikiReader but I have no idea how to move threads.

I tried the link "Move" next to the subject header. It worked. :)

We would like it to be Wikipedia <Language name>. Where the language name is written in native spelling / characters. Just like the language bar on the left side of wikipedia.

There are a few languages where "Wikipedia" is spelt differently to the English form. Is it correct that you want the whole of the message localised, for example to "Wicipedia Cymraeg" in Welsh?

Lloffiwr09:05, 13 June 2010

Yeah this is inconsistent I know. I think it's best to localize the whole string in those cases.

Thanks for the info. Have put a translation hint on the /qqq documentation page.

Lloffiwr11:30, 13 June 2010

OK, I fixed the translations I was able to fix and fuzzied the rest that seemed to translate "English" as "English" rather than the name of their own language.
