Can you shed some light on this?

Hi. Something happened today that shocked me a bit, as we have very little vandalism on translatewiki.net. I written you and Eleferen as the recently most active translators for Russian in the hope to gain some insight into the matter. If you have some more information ont he following, please let me know. If you do not want anyone to know you let me know, please feel free to e-mail me.

Today user ‎Grigol deleted 1164 translations in Russain with some reference I so not understand[1]. I have no idea why he took his beef here. As far as I know, translatewiki.net does not influence the Russian language Wikipedia other than allowing editors to see the proper user interface messages. More info in this thread. As said, it reads as a disgruntled user, but if there's more threats to come, I'd like to be able to pro-actively deal with it...

Hej. I think it's ordinary vandalism. Of course, there was no consensus

OK, thank you for the feedback.

Basically, that guy is one of the crowd that was behind spam via wikimail some time ago, as well as other acts of disruption such as this one. Just a few trolls batshit insane about themselves being banned for trolling, and taking this as a justification for more trolling. There's no complex triage to perform - just shoot on sight.
