Fallbacks in Chinese languages: not everything has to be translated.

Hi. Please mind that not all Chinese variants have to be translated. If the translation would be equal to that in the fallback language, please do not translate it.

  • zh-tw falls back to zh-hant
  • zh-cn falls back to zh-hans
  • zh-hk falls back to zh-hant
  • zh falls back zo zh-hans

Usually only zh-hans and zh-hant have to be completed. Saves you a lot of work. Best advice: get Traditional and Simplified complete first, then update in the other codes what differs.

Please elaborate on the technical background. Why is there a *need* to have the localisations translated that fall back to an identical translation?
