Szy

You continue to bring up totally irrelevant points here. I don't know why you are misinterpreting what I am saying, but let me try to make this very clear:

  1. My original message was simply asking for clarification as to why the page had been tagged. (You have, in a very roundabout way, provided a response to that.)
  2. My first reply was only to clarify certain things that you seemed to be unclear about.
  3. I am not trying to request that Sakizaya be set up for translation here. (If I were, I would go through the necessary steps.) And, in particular: I am not trying to get you to do that.
  4. I know that others would be interested in translating it, because of m:Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Sakizaya. (Please take a look at that page if you have not already—in particular, see the elligibility notice/comment at the very top and the sections "January 2019 update" [which I linked to above] and "Additional comments" at the bottom. This provides context that you still seem to be lacking, based on your remarks here.)
  5. I originally thought that creating the Portal page would be helpful because it did not exist here but was linked to from incubator:Wp/szy (the "Translatewiki.net portal" link). That is literally the only reason I created the portal page in the first place. I was interested in helping to "move the ball forward" on getting the language translated here, but I was leaving it to others to continue the process on their own.
  6. I do not know why others have not (as far as I can tell) taken any further steps to get the language enabled here. I plan to post another followup message about that at m:Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Sakizaya.
  7. The code for Sakizaya, as assigned by SIL in January 2019, is szy. The code ais has been deprecated.
  8. If I am wrong about "ais" not needing translation here, then presumably that will become clear in the discussion at Thread:Support/Sakizaya (which you should also read if you haven't already).

And finally: you really do not have to reply to this comment. I am not asking you for any futher assistance or clarification about this matter. For some reason, you and I are not effectively communicating here, so we can stop now. (But if you want to weigh in at Thread:Support/Sakizaya, feel free to do so.)
