Rally rules and stuff

Hi Yaron. Thank you for contributing again to the rally. You're one of our regulars now :). The rally rules state that MediaWiki core and MediaWiki extensions used by Wikimedia have to be completed before translations to other extensions are counted towards the total. This is not something we can put in the check page that you probably used to check your contribution counts. However, from your contributions I can see that many of the translations you made are outside of the requirements so far.

Can we settle on you taking a fair chunk out of these, so I can make your claim valid? Please also address the fuzzy marked. They have to be resolved eventually. Please keep come back more often, and bring your friends. We need your help, as my Hebrew is too rusty!

LOL, I will do my best! The thing is that Rotemliss does not allow me to translate the core directly so I just have to translate all around it... This is really annoying but I respect his request and I will do my best to complete some more translations...

Kind regards, Yaron Shahrabani.

Core is complete, so there's no issue there. The issue are the 309 or so open message for extensions used by Wikimedia. Those have not been claimed by Rotem, have they?

Siebrand23:22, 17 October 2010

No, but there's no certain terminology so I had to translate only obvious strings that need no special interpertation...

As Siebrand said, the core messages are already completed. I don't see any reason for double-effort regarding the core messages.

As for the Wikimedia messages, what is the exact issue? You may translate any message, and ask about the terminology if necessary.

Note that I only "claim" messages that I already update, to avoid double-effort.
