I've been a Wikimedia user since 2014 and Miraheze user since 2017, native Chinese speaker and able to contribute in English, sysop on zh.wikipedia.org. I understand how interface affects user experience and strongly oppose translating without knowing where those words are used. I also believe that experience in large projects in target language is essential for contributing translations here.
