Optional fuzzied messages

Optional fuzzied messages

I think that if an optional message gets fuzzied, that it should get back into the translation menu. It should of course not appear there if it's just not translated, but if the language decides to translate it, and it's then either outdated or there are some link/formatting problems, then it should appear there. It might be no problem if the message is simply not translated, but if it's translated and outdated or wrong, then I believe it to be a problem that needs translators' attention. I'm saying it, because I recently noticed this to have happened in German, where all the .js and .css files include a link to MediaWiki:Common.js, which the translation checker complains about.

So basically you say that a *any* fuzzied message, optional or not, should be part of regular untranslated messages?

Niklas, anything we can do with that? An issue I see is that the percentage of untranslated messages could in theory be larger than 100%, but I don't worry about that too much.

Not that easily.
