Quality of Dutch translations

Quality of Dutch translations

As I'm translating Limburgish I get a look at the Dutch translations as Dutch is a fallback for Limburgish. I am rather disturbed by poor quality, nearly unintelligible translations such as MediaWiki:Mostgloballylinkedfiles-summary/nl. At first I thought most of these pages were related to non-native User:Esketti, but it seems that it is a problem that works across the entire Dutch translation community.

While it is acceptable that a typo, spelling or odd sentence construction can sometimes slip through, gibberish translations are not. In some cases, it is way easier to translate from English than from the fallback language Dutch... I hope this issue can be addressed. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 11:46, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
