"languages" tag

In the '''<languages>''' tag the text is displayed incorrectly regardless of browser or UI language setting in My preferences. Seems like encoding problem, like this tag's content is not in the UTF or smth. Does anybody experience similar bug?

OK, this appears to be a caching issue in action. I've cleared the cache, and I got localised names in Dutch. After that, adding "uselang=en" again gave me language names in Dutch. This behaviour has not happened until recently, so we'll look into it.

Likely the same issue we had with the table of contents.

Niklas made an update for translatable pages to avoid this (mwr:71165).

Where can I localize the names of languages?

In CLDR.

Vocabulary trainer link

The link from "Vocabulary trainer" in the project list doesn't seem to be working. There is a project page called Translating:Vocabulary_trainer but it seems unfinished compared to other project pages. Can I do anything to help here or should I leave well alone?

Best ping Gerard about this.

No reply yet concerning vocabulary trainer. Is this on hold? If so, can we say so in brackets after the name?

Lloffiwr14:12, 3 July 2010

Best try again. GerardM sometimes needs a kick at the moment :)

Linkerror?

Hello,

How come when I click on "Project" in the left menu, that I reach the english page. I have personally translated the norwegian (no) project page, and I know it works as the link in the above summary of the languages gets me there.

Regards

There is no automatic language redirection in the page translation feature.
