"Exporting" of translations

I'm afraid I lost track of how the process of moving translations from here into the software works a long time ago. Because of 70686, I had changed special page aliases for Tetum (tet) about a week ago, but they have still not appeared live on tet.wikipedia.org. Do special page aliases etc. need a special request to be exported, contrary to normal messages?

See FAQ#Special:AdvancedTranslate. As I thought was clear, that's a bug that needs immediate intervention in MediaWiki itself, not something delegated to translatewiki.net.

Of course it does; but I had thought this could be shortcut while WMF people are lazy.
