Button: Ask Question

We have a new Button [Ask Question] on edit pages but it appears not to do anything when clicked.

JavaScript only for now.

Ok, but that does not explain why it is doing nothing but vizualize the klick. Could it be that the script in question if not from https://translatewiki.net but from elsewhere? If so, my security settings block it as a possible security risk.

Btw., while we're at it: I had additional editing buttons above my edit pane. They are gone since some days. I believe, due to the ressource loader deployment. Does anyone know, where I can find docs explaining how I get them back?

The script is inline with the html. If the script is not executed the button can be clicked but it will do nothing.

A click produces a JavaScript Error:

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Security Manager vetoed action" nsresult: "0x80570027 (NS_ERROR_XPC_SECURITY_MANAGER_VETO)" location: "JS frame :: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=MediaWiki:Validationstatistics-utable/ksh&action=edit&loadgroup=ext-flaggedrevs-validationstatistics&loadtask=untranslated :: onclick :: line 1" data: no]

I have no idea how to fix this.

I do not either at the moment.

I believe, tracing the JS on my system might be an option to collect more information on what the problem is - since the message mentions NS_ERROR_XPC_SECURITY_MANAGER_VETO, I suspect an automated decision made locally on my system, whatever the reason could be. Currently, I do not want to spent time learning how to do such tracing, thus postponing from my side.
