Many-to-one translations

I really appreciate a wiki interface for translation, first of all. Great idea. Having used it a bit I think to understand the tool is thought for translation of a main wiki into multiple other languages, which is probably the most common use case. However mine happens to be just the inverse, that is, a wiki that often needs to translate foreign documentation & docs in various languages into spanish. So my question would be if anyone has any suggestions in order to implement 'many-to-one' translations. I see that combination with other extentions will be necessary, for example, having a list of languages next to each article (like the wikipedia). But I still don't get to mark the 'initial' one & Translate will default to the wiki's, which it's actually the one it should be translated to.

You could have a look at mw:Extension:LiveTranslate, but this is a use case we are not really investing in...
