"slug"

  • "A slug is a few words that describe a post or a page. Slugs are usually a URL friendly version of the post title (which has been automatically generated by WordPress), but a slug can be anything you like. Slugs are meant to be used with permalinks as they help describe what the content at the URL is."[1]
  • "A slug is a part of a permalink that identifies a page using human-readable keywords [1], for example "Slug_(web_publishing)", rather than an opaque identifier such as the number of piece of content within a database, for example "4859604"."[2]

Shall we then rephrase this to... hmmm... to... errr... "the group which our web publishing package chose to name:" :) Perhaps "the group named:" or "the group abbreviated as:"? "the group known as:"? Suggestions, kgh?

I really love things like this. ;-) I am afraid that I do not have better ideas at the moment. Why not take the Dutch translation as a template: „Move to group:“ It is simple and clear and ignores slug. :-) --kgh 18:03, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Brilliant suggestion, if I may say so. Done!
