Documentation recognition

Hello, I've looked around a bit more and found a few pages I didn't even know about. I think several documentation pages should be merged/moved/restructured, we're still missing some very basic pieces. Perhaps I was a bit inspired so I wrote down some ideas and I'm going to do some quick tidy up in the next few days I hope, while writing new docs will probably have to wait more. If you want to help, I could start with the big movements in the next few days and we can polish stuff together later. Some feedback on the "plan" would be very appreciated, I've never done anything because I got no comments whatsoever.
