[edit] Prerequisites (DO THIS FIRST - IT SAVES EVERYONE SOME TIME!)

• This page is only for requests to translate Mediawiki and its extensions. People interested in translating FreeCol should go to FreeCol.
• Make sure you are logged in.
• Make sure you have a user page, preferably with some useful information on it, like which language(s) you will be working on, and a link to the user page in your main wiki.
• New requests are at the bottom, and old ones are at the top. Please sign your name, and indicate the language you would like to translate into.
• After you have translator rights, you can add your name to Translating:Languages.
• You only need to get translator rights once. When you are a translator for one language, you are able (and allowed if you understand the language) to translate in other languages as well.

Oups, an old version, never made up to date... In any case, I am using the LEXIQUE INFORMATIQUE EN LINGALA from Floribert Limbaya Litoti and Léon Bukasa Tshibaka, 3rd edition, Kinshasa, 2007. And that one from Dzokanga (1977). I know my limits, but what was published for three times and is teached at schools and university seems to be correct. My part can only be a beginning until native speakers are also connected to broadband internet. On the other hand, many native speaker dont know the othography and ICT-terms in lingala. --Eruedin 20:51, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
