Confusing terminology in here and other messages around this one. What is the difference between "removed" and "deleted"?

The difference is this: the wall owner can remove (i.e. hide from other users) messages from their wall. Only admins can delete messages (i.e. MediaWiki delete).

Then use "hide" instead of remove? :)

That could give the impression that the user is only hiding it from their own view – the stronger wording was put in to reinforce the message that this is removed for everyone (except admins).
