Add Atikamekw in supported languages

Good day, I'm requesting that Atikamekw (ISO code atj) be added as a supported language in order to be able to start translate Mediawiki. I will soon create a test-wikipedia project in Atikamekw in the Wikimedia Incubator, but the community had already seen activity since until now their Wikipedia was included in the Cree Wikipedia. We have an on-going project on an Atikamekw reserve to develop the test-wikipedia and to translate Mediawiki. The community "language keeper" is involved to ensure accuracy of translation. • LTR
• Script: Only one, latin alphabet
• Fallback language for Mediawiki: French

Is it possible to have the language added to Translatewiki. There are contributors who tried to create their account to translate Mediawiki in Atikamekw.

Where is the status of this? Atikamekw is still not activated and there is interest from speaker to start translating Mediawiki.

No fallback to the existing language cr? I see that one uses Cans, not Latin. Bizarre differences.

Atikamekw don't use Cans, so no the fall-back to existing cr is impossible since it's in a script they don't even understand/use.
