[[MediaWiki:Wikitweet-desc/en]]

I am uncertain: is the sequence of words "create …into" correct English in message wikitweet-desc ("Määd ene Kanaal ähnlesch wi Twitter em Wiki müjjelesch.") ?

Hoi, yes it is.

IMO, it should be "create ... in", not "into" (which suggests movement).

"Into" is probably referring to "feed" rather than "create" in this message. See definition of feed into. However, I don't know enough about tweeting or this extension to know what "feed into" means exactly.

Hmm, I hadn't considered that possibility. I'll change my translation accordingly.

If we're taking votes on this, I'm with McDutchie.

But thinking again about it after speaking, I'm now with GerardM.

Have requested explanation on the extension talk page.

Hello, I am the (french) creator of WikiTweet and when I wrote "into" I meant "included in" MediaWiki. There was no relation with "feed into" expression than I don't know.

To well understand, WikiTweet is an extension that allows to include (by a tag) a microblogging service (implemented with an input area at the top and a feed under the input area) in any pages in the wiki.

imho MediaWiki should be dropped from this message anyway since it is obviously an extension to MediaWiki. I suggest the following wording: "Create Twitter-like feeds" or "Allows to create Twitter-like feeds"
