[[Pywikipedia:Solve disambiguation-links-removed/en]] should support PLURAL

Adding another message for plural is not going to solve the problem. That is not how plurals work in many languages.

Could you explain please why different messages, one for singular, one for plural, does not work in many languages? We have implemented sth similar for table2wiki messages: table2wiki-no-warning, table2wiki-one-warning, table2wiki-warnings. And there is a bot script (not ported to translatewiki yet) which uses messages like this:

template-msg-change = {
    'en':u'Robot: Changing template: %s',
}

template-msgs-change = {
    'en':u'Robot: Changing templates: %s',
}

This gives separate messages for each variant.

Ok, I see. I made a draft implementation for support in [1]. But how translators know about how many variants are used for a language?

They do. The number of forms is hopefully the same in every product.

Since we do not have any localisation yet except the default one, we must implement it first. Would it be acceptable using this as a basic for this pythonic stuff?

Yes. We are trying to unify the wildly different plural rules in different implementations, see also Plural.
