The likely issue could be in Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), because for both "notice" and "notification", we also have the same translation "通知". That means, without investigating the structure of Echo extension we can't translate them correctly, therefore I translate "notice" in Echo as "一般通知" (i.e. general notice).

As I've explained on that thread, translate "Notification" and "Notice" both by "通知" is not that confusing. The most important is to have Alerts identified as the the most important Notifications. I'm just wondering about the difference between "Messages" and "Notices/Notifications", which is quite different.

In any case, we haven't managed to find a term perfectly translatable, despite the fact that we speak 12 languages in our team (with a lot who have that "Notices/Notifications" nuance, I'm afraid).
