Welcome to Betawiki!

Hi Kaustubh. Welcome to Betawiki. Before you can use Special:Translate, and Special:Magic, please request translator rights at Betawiki:Translators. Please create a user page on which you describe which language(s) you will be working on. If you are going to be an active user here, please also add your name to the languages you will be working on at Translating:Languages. For an overview of the languages that are being worked on here, you can have a look at Translating:Developer log. Other useful pages can be Support and Import requests.

Once you have started translating, please remember to often request a commit of your translation work at Translating:Tasks. This makes the number of changes easier to handle for the devs.

I wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Cheers! SPQRobin 14:06, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Import

I see that mr.wikipedia has a lot of translations which could be imported to here. I will request to import those translations, ok? SPQRobin 14:12, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you. Kaustubh 14:18, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
Messages from mr.wp imported. There were 190 messages available. Now there are 735. Please review all of them before continuing translation of new messages. Please place a commit request on Translating:Tasks when the review is done. Cheers! Siebrand 21:23, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Other translators

Hi Kaustubh! Maybe you can ask other users on mr.wikipedia to help translating the interface messages? It will be less work if there are more people working on a language. Cheers! SPQRobin 16:03, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Bounty claim mr-1 needs some fixes

Hi Kaustubh. Congratulations on the almost completed translation of milestone mr-1. Please check these messages and fix them. Once that has been done, the milestone has been completed. Cheers! Siebrand 18:12, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Milestone mr-2 missed

Dear Kaustubh. I regret to have to inform you that you have failed to deliver on the requirement for the claim made here on 2008-01-31. Instead of the target 90%, 84% was reached. I however still would like to most kindly thank you for the effort you made. Please rethink if you will be able to put the time in that is needed when re-applying for a claim. I would not want you to get demotivated setting goals for yourself you would not be able to deliver on. Please consider taking up a claim with other users to lighten the load. Cheers! Siebrand 19:24, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Kaustubh,

I feel it will be better if you are not translating this message.MediaWiki:Nonunicodebrowser/mr. That purpose of that message is different. Thanks. --Shijualex 09:56, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Claim for mr-3 about to expire

Hi Kaustubh. Your claim for mr milestone 3 will expire in 8 hours. As you are still only at 20% and need to go to 90%, I think you will not make it. You can re-apply for a claim for the same milestone, but the remaining claim percentage may be lower, because the baseline is a different one now. The work left is about 6-8 hours, I think. If you think that a one or two day extension of the deadline will help, please consider that granted (that is until 15 March, end of day, CET). Cheers! Siebrand 15:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks siebrand, i will complete the claim by 15.03.08. I have been translating offline and only thing i need to do now is to copy-paste the translations. Thank you once again for the extension.

Regards, Kaustubh 03:23, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Kaustubh. That does not sounds too efficient. Did you translate in POedit or another PO editing tool? If so, please email me the file as described on Translating:Offline! I can import the whole thing easily! Cheers! Siebrand 07:02, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Kausthubh,

What I meant is, do not translate that message. Any way thanks for the reply.--Shijualex 11:13, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Import verified

Wow, that was quick. Thank you for your promptness. Good luck on the challenge ahead :) Regarding your email: I have asked out PayPal admin to transfer EUR 97.10 your way. Well deserved. Thank you for your valuable contribution to the Marathi language community! Siebrand 10:23, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Hindi warnings

Hi Kaustubh. Please check these messages and fix them. They give warnings (variables, plurals, links). Thanks. Siebrand 16:27, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

PayPal balance

Your PayPal balance should have changed now... All completed claims have been wired to you. Siebrand 10:13, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Honourable user

Hi Kaustubh. I have decided to declare you Honourable user in Betawiki. You have almost single handedly ensured that two languages are now fully localised in MediaWiki. You have not only done this alone, I think you have also done it in record time. You have shown dedication that is worth these words of praise, in my opinion. Thank you! Siebrand 08:06, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
