Remove the < and > creating broken links in e-mail messages

I suggest to remove < and > signs around links in e-mail messages because it creates broken links, many e-mail software do not support them.

Whereas links without any decoration are automatically recognized by more e-mail viewer and are transformed into hyperlink. Additionnally, if not transformed, the link can easier be copied manually into browser address bar.

The general rule as per RFC is to have < and >, and my suggestion is to fix the broken e-mail programs.

The RFC is not supported at all. I never have seen any software supporting it. Fixing e-mail programs is not easy. We can fix problem by removing < and > for every software. Why do you want to create problems ?

I've never personally seen any software not supporting it, what software have you tried?
