Replies to threads not saving properly

As of 2016, the issue doesn't seem to come back.

For a while now I have had a problem with saving replies to threads. On pressing save the process would just hang there. If I press save again then the reply is saved twice. However, I have just upgraded from Firefox 23 to 24 and I think that the problem has now gone away. Just wanted to report in case it helps other people having the same problem.

Yes, I have the same problem and the number of duplicates posted proves many do. No idea what can be done about it; I doubt it will be looked into before the October server migration. Note: for me, often it's enough to just wait, or the message is posted even though the loading never ends.
