[edit] Welcome to Betawik!

Hi MF-Warburg. Welcome to Betawiki. Before you can use Special:Translate, please request translator rights at Betawiki:Translators. Please create a user page on which you describe which language(s) you will be working on.

Once you have started translating, please remember to often request a commit of your translation work at Translating:Tasks. This makes the number of changes easier to handle for the devs.

I wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Cheers! Siebrand 15:07, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. MF-Warburg 17:50, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] tet.wp messages imported

Nike just imported tet.wp messages. Have a ball with them and please let us know when you have completed checking/fixing them. Cheers! Siebrand 14:10, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sawubona

Hello, I have been very busy the last week, but here I am. I see you have began to translate the ss: interface. It seems more difficult than change directly in the WP/Wikimedia's pages, I hope you watch that I'll do well. Regards.--Jatrobat 03:22, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] tet in language project

I have given it some thought and I would give tet place in the language project. It does qualify. But I have a concern, which is your level of proficiency. You give yourself a tet-1 on your user page on meta. IMO 'basic understanding' is not sufficient. I guess you are German of Indonesian descent (?). Could you maybe rack up one or two native speakers to do the job? If they are from Indonesia, they would also benifit a lot more from the money than you would in our expensive European culture... If you think you are really up to the job, let's talk some more on IRC and try to convince me... Cheers! Siebrand 18:44, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Hehe. I added this tet-1 a year or more ago (if I remember correctly), now I'd rate me better. I am not of Indonesian descent (at least I don't know...), I just engaged for some reason in East Timor and therefore learned Tetum. I also was just asking in general, because no need to bother native speakers then ;-). I'm not planning to request a claim, but asked some native speakers if they are interested. --MF-Warburg 20:58, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

I didn't know you're working on Tetun. I followed some Tetun classes years ago. Besides I know (better: I met) some Tetun speakers, however they're not computer literate. Meursault2004 16:00, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
