It seems the fucntioning of talk pages here has been clarified

Hi all, i am new here and liked the job and did as good as possible. Fortunately someone corrected my translations within short time. So i gained lots of experience out of my first steps. Most corrections were perfect. Some of the corrections were at least not worse. And then some of the corrections were really doubtful but i let them pass.

Only in cases which were both, worsening and repeating either, i started a discussion with detailed reasoning. If needed i looked up sources. Still the user goes on correcting (deteriorating) this cases without joining the discussion or waiting for an agreement.

I would have contacted him directly if he wouldn't have shown instructional and reproachful communication style before.

So what can i do now? Is there a discussion board outside the specific projects?

Hi, thanks for asking. I see that you opened discussions in the "talk page" of the specific message. This is not bad, but often people here don't even watchlist the messages they edit, so it's likely your messages were not seen.

I suggest to move the discussions to portal talk:de and just drop a link in the user's talk page.

ok, moved now. i had some difficulties because it was my first "move". but finally it seems to be successful.

What does it mean: "The following issue is open, waiting for action." Who have to take action and what?

It means that this issue/thread/discussion is marked as open, waiting for action. However, nobody has been assigned to to actually to take care of this issue. If you feel this issue has been resolved, feel free to use the edit button near the summary to change the status to closed.
