Move from LiquidThreads (LQT) to Flow (or maybe the default discussion system)

LiquidThreads is no longer maintained and may be unstable on MediaWiki master branches. I think translatewiki.net should switch from LQT to Flow before someone plans to archive LQT.

It seems StructuredDiscusions (ex-Flow) is ending up in the same state as LiquidThreads.

Lack of credible migration path has prevented us from doing any plans around this, but I know something needs to be done at some point.

I think we may switch to the default discussion system. However, DisscusionTools requires Linter, Parsoid and VisualEditor to be installed.

A very naïve answer:

I support retiring LiquidThreads.

Flow probably shouldn't be used because it looks like it's not going to be developed much more.

Active talk pages, like Support, should be converted to usual MediaWiki talk pages. That's the way that all Wikimedia sites are going, and it's sensible.

I also support installing Discussion Tools. Visual editor probably shouldn't be enabled for UI translations, but installing it for talk pages in general is not supposed to be a big deal.

Bug again, it's a very naïve answer. I practically never deal with installing extensions here, that's usually the realm Nike and Abijeet Patro.

VisualEditor is not supported on UI translations but on basic pages, you can use VisualEditor.
