Northern Thai language name change
Fragment of a discussion from Support/LiquidThreads
Tai Tham is in Unicode and I can see this text on my computer.
However, I have a few questions:
- Do you actually know this language? You translate to a lot of languages. It's better if native speakers do it.
- Till now, Northern Thai has been written here in the Thai script. How much is the Tai Tham script used?
- Is the name you propose written anywhere outside Wikipedia? For example, in books or academic articles?
I studied in Chiang Mai and Chiang Saen for 3 years, I am fluent in Northern Thai language for the second grade, I have discussed with an expert to confirm the ᨽᩣᩈᩣᨣᩤᩴᨾᩮᩬᩥᨦ name, for Evidence, see my talk page link, thanks.
