Hi, is it possible to view a list of the message combinations for this? The grammar of Manx is complicating things. "X" has a different structure in "You don't have permission to X" than in isolation. For example, "Edit this page" is "Reaghey y duillag shoh", but in that context it is "Cha nel kiart ayd y duillag shoh y reaghey". So I need to know what action-messages will appear in this context so as to adjust the grammar. I'm also not sure whether this is the only context where those messages will be used, as other contexts might call for different grammatical structures. It's tricky enough working out which messages appear as imperatives rather than statements...

I am not completely sure about that, but I always thought action- messages are used only for this “You don’t have permission to X”.

That is indeed the case.

Okay, thanks.

Ah, it's more complicated than I thought, because there are messages with "action-" in that aren't for that (e.g. Vector-action-addsection). But I'll assume that anything called Action-* alone is one of these.

Sure; there is even a {{Doc-action}} template to be used in documentation, but I don’t think it can be guaranteed all action messages are tagged with it.

Then I'm marking this issue closed: is it all cleared for you, Shimmin? If you do some investigation on action messages, please do tag them in their /qqq so that everyone knows.
