In semanticmaps-default-kml-pagelink ("View page $1") is the variable $1 the title of a page?

That's probably true, but I could not make that out for certain from the code.

Documented. The message is used as default value for the input box, and $1 appears as is.

$1 in the input box will be replaced by page title.
