2012-05-26: Because of issues the with source code management for MediaWiki extensions, no exports of translations can be made at the moment.

Bevor du die Übersetzungswerkzeuge Special:Translate und Special:Magic benutzen kannst, musst du zudem die Übersetzerrechte beantragen. Swabian
At this time Swabian is not supported as a language in MediaWiki because nobody requested it. Make this request when you truly want to have support for your language. We will support it in MediaWiki when at least 25% of the most used messages for Swabian are supported.. We would also really appreciate it when you localise the Babel extension messages because we are implementing this here on translatewiki.net. Thanks, GerardM 09:22, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

- Thank you for your message! The problem is that Swabian is not "one language", it is a "collection" of dialects. All of them have some basic rules but there is no "Main-Swabian" that could be used for a localisation. But, since Swabian is an Alemannic dialect, the Alemannic localisation is sufficient, I think.
- Sorry, I can't find a way to localise the Babel messages; the dropdown at Special:Translate does not provide "Swabian" … or do I just have to create MediaWiki:Babel-N/swg etc.? PasO 11:15, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
