Special:Translate scrolls the page to a random position

Is there any way to make Special:Translate stop jumping (scrolling the page to a random position above the current one) every time I do any of the following actions?

  • Press ALT-SHIFT-S
  • Click on "Save and open next"
  • Click on "Save"

By looking on Google Chrome's console, I see the jump occurs exactly when the POST request for the Save action is finished.

No, that's supposed to center the next message. IIRC to me the problem happens when there isn't enough space (TUX requires wide screens), but using 60 or 70 % zoom improves the situation.

The problem is the next mensage isn't even visible in that area of the page where I get after clicking "Save" (so I have to scroll manually after every save).

What is your screen resolution?

Helder, I suspect that without some further debugging/steps to reproduce provided from your side this will hardly ever progress.

I reported the problem on bugzilla:52245 and added a screencast showing what happens.

Thanks for filing! I thought this was about the new interface though, not the old one? tux=0 is not going to receive bugfixes any longer AFAIK.

Is the new interface just opt-in? Or am I just following the wrong links? (I though I was using whatever was the most recent version of anything here on Translatewiki.net)

You at some point chose to not use the new editor, and we haven't made it mandatory (yet).
