Customer Account Active

Customer Account Active

Most probably a new fuzzy English resource (incorrectly translated from French litterally ?) ManageReports.options.custmrAccountActive (“Customer Account Active”) Also "customer" is probably "client" in the MIFOS terminology.

Good point Verdy. I copied these messages from the old code, but I didn't catch the strange word order. Thanks for pointing that out, we'll fix/update.

It appears that "client" and "customer" are used separately. Client is a subset of customer. For example, a loan can be made to a Client (an individual) or a Group (some number of clients). You could refer to a the Customer of a given loan where Customer would mean Client or Group. So in general Customer is used when it could mean Client or Group.

In German one has to rely that the user knows, depending on the page he is utilising on the interface, the difference between customer (Kunde) und client (Kunde). Client (Klient) has a different meaning and cannot be used. So I have to think of something different. Probably I will change client to individual to have a customer who may be an individual or a group. I will have a look into this.

I think Finnish has a similar problem. Both could be translated as asiakas. There is a word tilaaja (orderer, customer, subscriber) that could perhaps be used.
