Hi Ganesh, Welcome, Happy to see you here. :) File namespace can contain any file including image, video, pdf etc. चित्र just belongs image, right? Some word simillar to "दस्तावेज"(I'm not sure, I saw this word on some past discussions and my knowledge on NE Indian languages is limited) may be needed. regards

Document mean दस्तावेज. File mean संचिका. I have used चित्र Becouse File or Image used to show any picture on wikipedia and चित्र is used on hindi wikipedia for file namespace. Ganesh 06:48, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
