Looks good

Hoi, the translations that you did in Maltese look good to me.. Thanks, GerardM 14:58, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please read the translation hints

Hi. Many messages have translation hints. Often they say that a namespace name should not be translated. This then needs a correction. Please mind the translation hints, so that the quality of your work will be better. Cheers! Siebrand 10:54, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Release is coming and it is very important that everything works correctly. However I still see unfixed messages after fixing few:
'Mediawiki:aboutpage/mt'            => 'Proġett:Dwar',
'Mediawiki:bugreportspage/mt'       => 'Proġett:Rapporti dwar żballji',
'Mediawiki:currentevents-url/mt'    => 'Proġett:Ġrajjiet kurrenti',
'Mediawiki:disclaimerpage/mt'       => 'Proġett:Ċaħdiet ġenerali',
'Mediawiki:edithelp/mt'             => 'Għajnuna bil-modifika',
'Mediawiki:faqpage/mt'              => 'Proġett:FAQ',
'Mediawiki:helppage/mt'             => 'Għajnuna:Kontenut',
'Mediawiki:policy-url/mt'           => 'Proġett:Politika',
'Mediawiki:portal-url/mt'           => 'Proġett:Portal tal-komunità',

Plural

Let's talk about it a little. You said that in normal case you only need two forms, but in some cases four. I see two solutions to this, which depend on the grammar of Maltese plurals. First solution already works, and that is {{PLURAL:n|first|second-third-fourth}}, where the second input is used for all the rest. However, if that doesn't work, we can add a check 'number of forms == 2', and use a different rule determining which one to choose. Third alternative is to introduce fifth form and check its existence. In this case the syntax would be {{PLURAL:n|singular||||plural}}.

As I don't know exactly how the grammar goes, it is up to you to choose the best alternative. Give it some thought, and remember that it is rather difficult to change once chosen. Thank you. – Nike 16:24, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to contact you when i finish all the translations. This way i'll get some time to think about it. thanks --Giangian15 11:33, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
