Смотри, оказывается есть 500 самых важных сообщений, из которых уже 112 уже переведено. Непереведённые из этого списка - тут. Думаю, надо перевести до конца именно эти сообщения. Тогда можно будет сообщить языковому комитету, что основные 500 сообщений переведены, и требование перевода интерфейса выполнено. Amdf 16:07, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Note about templates

I see in MediaWiki:Pagecategories/myv you translated {{PLURAL:$1|Category|Categories}} as {{ЛАМОНЬ ЧИСЛА:$1|Категория|Категорият}}. This is a mistake - {{PLURAL}} is a template, it shouldn't be translated. In this case you may translate only parameters of the template - words "Category" and "Categories". More precise: {{PLURAL}} is a core function in messages to be used for singular and plural forms (see source message for example). It is not a template. Other examples of these functions are {{GRAMMAR}} and {{SITENAME}} Cheers! Siebrand 21:05, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Translating FreeCol

Hi. Please do not misunderstand me, I appreciate your enthousiasm for starting to work on FreeCol, and by all means, if that is what you would like to work on now, please continue doing that. However, I would advise you to finish the MediaWiki core messages first (some 900 remaining), before picking another product to work on. Please be advised that a FreeCol locale will only be created when at least 25% of the messages have been translated, and that FreeCol is a game, for which it makes even more sense to have a complete locale than for a web product like MediaWiki.
