Afrikaans translations by පසිඳු_කාවින්ද

Can User:පසිඳු_කාවින්ද's Afrikaans translations be marked as fuzzy? I'm sure they were made in good faith, but they need to be checked and corrected. Regards.

Can you try to get some other Afrikaan translators to review them using http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:Translate/!recent?task=acceptqueue ?

A quick review won't help. Most of them are incorrect and must be re-translated. If it's going to be easier, I would say just delete all of them. Sorry!

This is not really possible, because everything has already been committed. They do need to be reviewed and corrected. As this user was the (previous) winner of the translation rally, I've also done some checking myself. I have found some machine translation abuse, indeed. I have decided to disqualify the translations into Afrikaans for the user, and I've let him know.

I did my best for sinhala language translations, but i'm not a native speaker of Afrikaans and i didn't cheated in this rally. I think my Afrikaan translations are correct more than 70% percent.

70% of the words may be correct, but 90% of your translations are incorrect or of poor quality. You cannot speak or write a word Afrikaans, or can you? Unfortunately your mess was committed, and several Afrikaans projects are now completely ruined for Afrikaans users.

I'm Sorry! but, the translations are not containing any badwords. Each word has a meaning. They will match the english meaning. Other Afrikaan translators won't need to re-translate the message. because the each message contains few incorrect words.

How can "Detach Volume" ("Volume ontkoppelen" in Dutch) be translated as "Maak Deel", not even remotely the same words, or is it? And this is no exception, all your translations are of exceptional low quality and ofter completely misleading.

If you want to help, go buy a good bilingual dictionary/"tweetalige woordeboek" and fix your mess. Don't use the crappy half baked translation tools found all over the Net.
