We Joetaras, Complimenti p' 'a fatica ncopp' 'o roa-tara. Nziem'a l'italiano tengo 'o tarantino comm'a nu bellu fallback. Traducenno traducenno aggio visto chesto: MediaWiki:Mw-ui-feature-requirements-browser/roa-tara. Sto penzanno... fosse n'errore, 'o plurale fosse negativo... famme sapè. Grazie!!!

C.R. (talk)21:19, 6 August 2015

Joe Taras (talk)06:28, 7 August 2015

Cià belle arrete, ho rivisto meglio il messaggio! Hai ragione non avevo "negato" il plurale non ge sonde (in effetti se fosse stato senza il NON valeva quello che ti ho scritto prima). Scusa per la poca precisione. A risentirci presto

Joe Taras (talk)10:18, 7 August 2015

We Joe! era gnorsì stu fatto d' 'o plurale negato. Mo' staje appost :D. Ciao!

Wikidata:Menu Challenge

I noticed your contributions here during the Translation Rally, well done! I wanted to let you know about another contest that Wikimedia Sverige is organizing on In this contest the aim is to translate words related to food so that we can create multilingual menus that we will use at a food fare in a week. You can read all about it here. We would really appreciate having the menus in your language. Also, there are some handy instruction videos available if you haven't worked on Wikidata before.

Kind regards,

Jopparn (talk)06:50, 26 May 2015

Dear Jopparn, I want to know if language I used is valid about new context, because Tarandine hasn't ISO-639 code so all translations outside the MediaWiki scope will be discarded.

Thanks in advance.

Joe Taras (talk)07:37, 26 May 2015

I am not sure if I understand your question. On Wikidata you can pick Tarandine as your language and add descriptions, and that would be great! :-) Currently a full 294 labels are left untranslated. Also, Italian still have 72 labels left to translate.

Jopparn (talk)07:59, 26 May 2015

I start to translate. A question. My translation progress (list of pages updated by me) is automatically or I must write it?

Thanks in advance

Joe Taras (talk)10:05, 26 May 2015

You have to add your contributions manually I'm afraid.

Kind regards,

Your help is appreciated

Hi there :) I just want to let you know that your help would be appreciated to finish translations in Tarandine for MediaWiki's VisualEditor software. The current progress is 80%, and looks like it's all due to you, so thank you! Also, if you feel like you want to walk an extra mile, please check if this language needs further help with the tasks listed at mw:VisualEditor/TranslationCentral#To_do. Thanks, and happy 2014,

Elitre (talk)15:32, 31 December 2013

Hi, only today I've translated messages about VE. Remain a bit of them ;)

Finalising the Translation Rally 2009-12 - payment details known

Hi! We have begun finalising the latest Translation Rally 2009-12 in which you have participated and were eligible for a part of the bounty - thank you for your contributions!

First of all my apologies for taking so very long to start processing the bounty cuts. I have no proper reason for it, just that it happened. I hope the delay on my side has not impacted the trust in or what we stand for.

You have indicated that you want to have your cut (EUR 37,50) transferred to you. As you have already participated in a previous translation rally, we will reuse your payment details unless you make a different payment address or method known. You can keep track of the payment process or ask questions if you have any. Please use e-mail for communicating personal information!

If you do not respond with different payment details within a week, we will make the payment to the known address.

Please check the rules for the current rally

Hey. I assume you want to participate in the current translation rally, and intend to qualify. Please check the rules. You should be working on "Extensions used by Wikimedia" first to make edits that qualify. In your latest 250 contribs I hardly see any of those (only to "MediaWiki extensions" that are not used by Wikimedia). Cheers!

Siebrand16:21, 24 December 2009

Hi Siebrand, thanks. I open the page of "MediaWiki extensions" and I'm processing the translation in alphabetical order". Ok now I continue about "Extensions used by Wikimedia".

Thank you for advice.

Best regards and Merry Christmas!

Joe Taras

Same to you!

That's one of the reasons I added the "rules" link in the sitenotice. They have changed slightly compared to the previous Translation Rally.
