「MediaWiki:Special-characters-group-canadianaboriginal/ja」で「カナダの原住民」と翻訳なさっていることを拝見しました。これがどのような場面で使われる文字列なのかを確認なさっていると考えていますが、その訳語が適切だと判断した理由を教えてください。

説明、即ち「MediaWiki:Special-characters-group-canadianaboriginal/qqq」をお読みになった上での翻訳であるということならば、しばらくの間、翻訳以外のことで活動していただいた方がよいと判断します。たとえばtwn上だと誰かの翻訳結果をみて査読的なことをするとかですかね。英語の勉強にもなるでしょうし。

率直に言えば、あの説明読んであの翻訳になる人は現時点では翻訳に関しては戦力外ですし、誤訳による影響が懸念されるのでプロジェクトとしてはデメリットしかないです。さすがにあの説明をどう読めば翻訳結果が「カナダの原住民」になるのかは、私には想像できないです……。

先の《たとえばtwn上だと誰かの翻訳結果をみて査読的なことをするとかですかね。英語の勉強にもなるでしょうし。》は撤回いたします。撤回の理由はここには書きませんが、twn以外のところでご活躍ください。
