Hi P. S. F. Freitas. Welcome to!

You can now start translating.

You should also check the portal for your language, the link is in the sidebar. Other useful pages are linked in the menu next to this message.

Your translations are transferred to the standard product every few days or every few weeks, depending on the product. Please notice that it may take longer before you see your translation in the actual product.

We wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Please leave any questions on Support (the link is also available on any page, in the navigation sidebar). Cheers!

I see that you have been translating into Guaraní for a long time. Localization help with Guaraní is indeed much-needed.

I've added a list of links to your user page under the title "Links for Guaraní". I recommend going through that list item by item from top to bottom, and translating each item completely.

If you are working with friends, I recommend that each of you picks a different item in the list and complete it.

Please ask me or the Support page if you have any questions. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 04:41, 29 August 2023 (UTC) Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 04:41, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi there!
Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate your suggestion and the effort you've put into compiling the list of links for Guarani translation. I will go through the list when I have some free time and do my best to complete the translations. If I have any questions, I won't hesitate to ask you or refer to the Support page.

I've been some cosmetic fixes in many languages, and found the following Guaraní translation

The translation is probably supposed to end with the ":" character, but it also has "-pe" after it. I might be wrong, but I guess that "-pe" is a Guaraní suffix that means "from", or something like that. If that's the case, the translation cannot work like that. These are labels of a form field. You can see this form here:

Can you please correct this translation if it's needed?

Thanks! Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 14:42, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi there!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've reviewed the Guarani translation you mentioned, and you're correct, they are wrong, although the "-pe" suffix in Guaraní means "in, at, for, to." I've gone ahead and corrected the translations for both "MediaWiki:Allpagesfrom/gn" and "MediaWiki:Allpagesto/gn". They now read:
  • Ehechauka kuatiakuéra kóicha oñepyrũva:
  • Ehechauka kuatiakuéra kóicha opáva:
If you have any more translations or changes that need attention, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm here to help!
