Dear user. Please, "y" in Talysh is the same as "y" in Azerbaijani. "J" is "c" for Azerbaijani language. "I" is the same as "I" in Azerbaijani language. Please do not translate all "ı" as "y" and "y" as "j". Example: "igtisádi iyan tijáriya aloğaon geš kárde" or "Cı kišvari bentona tijorati ku oma ziyodati (profisit) imina nimasorada taqriban 10 million dollár taškilıš kárda." Thank you for your attention.
Hello Гусейн For your information, we as a group of Talysh Wiki creators work on Talysh Wiki project currecntly. We have linguists of Talysh language as well, persons who are skillful in Wikipedia. We decided to write Talysh Wiki in Latin script. As you know, alla Talysh Language speakers can read and write in Latin, but most of them cannot read and write in Cyrillic( especially people in Azerbaijan and Iran, where majority of Talysh speakers live). Cyrillic script is used only by Talyshes who live in Russia, and they also can read and write in latin as well. This is the fact that everybody is aware about. So, if you desire to contribute to Talysh Wiki project, please join our group, we can work together. We ask you kindly to write exclusively in latin script. Because, except you all other Talysh Wiki contributors write in latin. Writing in cyrillic, only damages the work that we do fo the sake of Talysh Wiki. Thank you very much Jeyhun Heydar jeyhun.heydar@gmail.com
I do not understand very well. Why should you translate in Talysh in Cyrillic to Latin. The Talysh portal has only the Cyrillic script and I am on it and realize the translation. Email administrators may add you to the Latin alphabet, there is no need to amend article from Cyrillic to Latin. For the Talysh is Cyrillic, which well passes all the sounds of the language, Latin for the Talysh have not created it borrowed from the Azerbaijani language, and they in turn made in Turkish. But now for the Talysh in Azerbaijan he certainly is necessary, although Cyrillic they too many already know. I too posted by administrators to add Latin to Talysh.
Azerbaijan talysh's using the latin alfabet,İranian talysh's using arabic alfabet and Russian talysh's using the crlyic alfabet, why do you talysh alfabet standarized. I understand you, but other friends (azerbaijan talysh's) is used talysh latin alfabet.
This I know. I'm not standartized, but using a single alphabet, it would be better for all of us and my choice is not in favour of the Latin text, we have it in Cyrillic alphabet and, as before, it was in Azerbaijan with the Azerbaijani language, but in the 90 's, was changed to the Latin alphabet. So I don't have anything against, you need to add the ability to translate Talysh language in Latin script.
Hello. Either Talysh would be translated using both the Cyrillic and Latin script, or only in the Latin script. Because it seems that everyone who can read Cyrillic script can also read Latin script, it may be good to only translate in the Latin script to save work. Or do you really want to have Cyrillic script too?
Thanks,
Talish's, Azerbaijan, Russia and the İran countries are living.but, Azeris Latin alphabet, Cyrillic alphabet Russians, Iran uses Arabic alphabet. We do not know how to find a middle way.I think if a structure satisfies all parties, such as Kazakh Wikipedia can.One other issue is that the talish screen name is simply written with Cyrillic aflabesi looks.толышә зывон, instead толышә / Tolyši is written in the form we are more than satisfied.Submit to us before the Serbian wiki, or an application such as would be appropriate in our opinion.Regards
Hi. Thanks for all your translation efforts. Looking over your contributions, I see that you're working on a lot of different products. If I may give you some advice: You can maximise your efforts by completely localising one product and only them switching to another one. The user experience only starts to be great when a product is completely localised. If you continue like you currently are, you may end up with a lot of half-localised products in Talysh, instead of a few very well localised products in Talysh.
Of course, feel free to spend your time any way you like. It's your time, and you have to like what you're doing :).
Cheers!
Thank you very much for your translation of Waymarked Trails! Your translation have long since been deployed, and you can see it in action on hiking.lonvia.de. The only untranslated object that we know about is the update date formatting. It is relying on django, and if you'd like to have it localised as well you can take a look at the formats.py in other languages and submit a pull request to the django project. I can assist if you like.
