Hi MiiCii. Welcome to translatewiki.net!

You can now start translating.

You should also check the portal for your language, the link is in the sidebar. Other useful pages are linked in the menu next to this message.

Your translations are transferred to the standard product every few days or every few weeks, depending on the product. Please notice that it may take longer before you see your translation in the actual product.

We wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Please leave any questions on Support (the link is also available on any page, in the navigation sidebar). Cheers!

Thank you very for the massive updates in the mnc translations you have done recently!

Thank you! Just out of curiosity—is there a written description of the orthography rules that you use? I'm especially curious about the writing of "-i", which I see a lot. Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 14:43, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
The orthography rule that we use is vertical Manchu script. Meanwhile there are several unofficial ways of Latin transliteration, including Möllendorff (used worldwide), Abkai (mainly used in China) etc. Considering that the Template called MongolUnicode that can show the script vertically hasn't created on TranslateWiki, the translations are written in Möllendorff transliteration temporarily.
The writing of "-i" is used to distinguish between the 3rd person singular nominative "i" and the genitive "-i", because their meanings and shapes are different.--MiiCii (talk) 16:22, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK. Another question. I see the words that you are suggesting in existing translations, but I also see these:
  • Template: undehen
  • File: dangse
  • Category: duwalibun
I don't know the language and I don't care which ones you use, but I do recommend making it consistent.
So I just wanted to check: Are you sure that you want to use "Template", "Bithe", and "Hacin"? Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 17:51, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your recommendation, the translations I want to use is:
  • Template: Template
  • File: Bithe
  • Category: Duwalibun
The word "undehen" listed above means "board" or "plank", and "dangse" means "archive".
Although I translated the word "Category" into "Hacin", I supposed that "Duwalibun", which has been translated by another user firstly is better. MiiCii (talk) 04:31, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK, so is this correct?
  • Duwalibun (Category/分类)
  • Duwalibun -i leolen (Category talk/分类讨论)
Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 04:44, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, correct. MiiCii (talk) 04:47, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
