Project name translation

Hello Susanna. Great project you have here! I have gladly translated all there was to translate (in Macedonian), and will continue to do so with any new things that may come up. I also noticed that when I open the Macedonian version fo the site now, the project name in the title stays "Wikidocumentaries" in English, which is to be expected, as I did not see a string here dedicated to translating the project name. Is this something that we should expect soon? I have consisently used the Macedonian equivalent "Викидокументарци" in all my translations, so it would be nice to have the same for the name throughout. Thanks a lot!

I was just thinking about this! I was planning to make some kind of a process about deciding the local name, but we could just as well give it to the translators. I will create a variable for that now! And thank you for encouragement! And most of all, thank you for your contributions!

It's a true delight to see such projects being started and developing well. Once I get the hang of it, i.e. the full possibilities, I will recommend our chapter to promote it in school presentations insofar as possible. I have now translated that name string and things should work out well. Not totally sure what you meant by deciding local names. This is a very clear cut case of translating 'wiki' (transcribing it, rather) and translating 'documentaries'. If there are any new developments, I'd be glad to be of assistance. I take great interest in projects like these. All the best!

Thank you very much! There is a rather quiet Facebook group, a Phabricator board, the GitHub repository and a blog but the user community has not started to evolve anywhere just yet. The wiki itself has issues with new user registrations so that can be THE place only later. Any feedback or ideas are welcome anytime! Cheers!

Primi passi

Ciao Susannaanas e benvenuto/a su translatewiki.net.

Wikipedia.missingArticle/it).

Se hai dubbi chiedi pure :)

I am very sorry, I was eager to get some translations in Italian. I will refrain from doing this. Thanks for the notice!

Cheers
