אז מה בעצם כל־כך מפריע לך בשורוק ב„שוּנה”? לפעמים אפשר להתבלבל שם עם „שׁוֹנֶה”.‏

מציק ממש בעין שיש מילה עם ניקוד באמצע משפט לא מנוקד. לא נראה לי שיש סיכוי שמישהו יתבלבל, ולכן שיניתי..

אתה מכיר עוד אנשים שזה „מציק להם ממש בעין”? זה ניקוד־עזר, דבר רגיל ונפוץ בעברית. לפעמים זה אולי באמת מיותר כי זה ברור מההקשר, אבל לפעמים זה נחוץ כי אפשר להתבלבל. יש סיבה שזה נכתב כמו שזה נכתב. אל תמחק את זה בבקשה בהחלפה המונית סתם בלי לחשוב.‏

אין שום סיבה לעריכה הזאת, היא לא מוסיפה כלום ולא גורעת כלום, לא ביטלתי אותה בינתיים אבל היא באמת ממש מיותרת.

לדעתי יותר נוח ככה לקרוא.

ואם לדעת מישהו אחר השינוי הזה לא נוח יותר לקריאה? נפתח מלחמת עריכות?

נא להתייעץ מראש בנוגע לשינויים מהסוג הזה, במיוחד אם יש צורך לבצע עריכות גורפות כדי לשמור על אחידות.
