The Punjabi I am talking about is not the Indian Punjabi as it is written in Gurmukhi script but the Pakistani Punjabi (Western Punjabi) is written in Shahmukhi script. It is currently in wikipedia incubator, its Main page can be viewed at http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/pnb. Please allow for that.   1. What is the localised name for this language?
  2. Is there a language that currently has some localisation that could serve as a fall back language for Western Punjabi?

The localised name for this language is Punjabi.

It is written from right to left and alphabets are almost same like Arabic, Persian Pashtu etc. You have already given above a specimen of it in one word form: "پنجابی". Hello I'd like to ask for translator privileges for the Aymara language, I noticed that its translation is going a little bit slow so I'd love to help. Besides I'd like to clarify one thing about the localised name, "aymar" as it is currently written is grammatically incorrect, the correct form is either "aymar aru" which can be translated as the "language of the Aymara" and it's the way languages are named, for example "Kastilla aru" means Spanish because it's the language from Castilla, Spain; or if there is a rule in Wikipedia about using only one word it should be "aymara". The Aymara language has a grammar rule which states that if a word has 3 or more syllables and the next word starts with a vocal, the last vocal of the first word disappears, but if there is no "aru" after the word it should be written "aymara", I'm not sure if this is the right place to correct that but since above there was a discussion about other language I thought that I should also point that out; thanks in advance. --Erebedhel 13:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

I want to cooperate with Betawiki and other digital means for more visibility of Kaingang language, and for the strengthening of it.
