Text replacement – parameter got lost in blockedtext-partial

Thanks for fixing it! However, it’s still not perfect: the fix of the Hungarian message introduced a wikipedia:MOS:LISTGAP error (and removed the spaces after the asterisks, but that’s just a matter of style, and I don’t bother either way). Could you please fix the list gap? (Of course, I could fix it myself, but only in Hungarian, leaving many other translations broken.) —Tacsipacsi (talk) 16:29, 13 August 2024 (UTC)

Oh, I didn’t notice (due to Project talk:Terminology gadget#Newlines eaten on the legacy interface) that the English message is also broken (since gerrit:866450 – looking at the Gerrit diff, I’m not surprised the author messed it up; it’s pretty unreadable). היי, אני רוצה לשנות את ההודעות של temp-user ל"משתמש חולף". אפשר גם חשבון חולף, ח"ח – אם להתייחס לדברי קיפודנחש ששווה להתייחס אליהם כדי להדגיש את ההבדל מול חשבון משתמש רגיל. (אקפיץ פה את הנימוקים מW:HE:ויקיפדיה:מזנון/ארכיון 443#זמני או חולף). "חולף" היא מילה נרדפת ל"זמני" ו"בר חלוף", כך שמבחינה תרגומית זה תקין. ושילוב המשמעויות שלה, יחד עם הקשר ל"עובר", הוא רק תוספת מבורכת. כמו "מחברי פונקציות", שבו "מחבר" היא מילה נרדפת ל"מקשר", ושילוב המשמעויות שלהם עם "כותב" מוסיף ואפילו מדייק את המשמעות.

אני כמובן יכול ומתכנן לעשות את זה בעצמי, או באמצעות API אם זו תהיה טרחה. רק שאני מעדיף לכתוב לך קודם כדי שלא ליצור עבודה כפולה ולשם התיאום.

אה, אני זוכר את הדיון ההוא. כפי שכתבתי שם, אין לי התנגדות עקרונית לתרגום כזה. פשוט נראה לי שלא הייתה שם הסכמה לגמרי חד־משמעית ולכן לא עשיתי את זה. אבל גם לא ממש הייתה התנגדות, אז זה כנראה בסדר. אין בעיה שתעשה את זה, ואפשר לעשות את זה בממשק תרגום רגיל ואין צורך בבוט – אין כל־כך הרבה מופעים. (למעשה, אני כמעט אף פעם לא עושה את זה עם בוט, וכשאני כן עושה את זה עם בוט, אני לפעמים מצטער על זה אחר־כך.)
