Hello, it was noticed that you translated some software keyword which should not be translated, in this case for Plural.

Let me (or Macofe) know if something is unclear with the syntax (we sometimes not notice that a specific thing is not documented yet) and remember that the machine translation suggestions do now know which words are untranslatable syntax.

Hola. Ya que haces la mayoría de las traducciones para iNaturalist, quería consultarte si sabes si se prefiere el 'tu' o el 'usted'. En Mediawiki y proyectos relacionados usamos el 'tu'. Saludos

Personalmente me gusta más el trato de tú y más en esta aplicación, pero no conozco ninguna guía de estilos, como sí que existe para el catalán. ¿Cuál es tu opinión? si consideras que es mejor una u otra forma verbal deberíamos revisar todas las traducciones para hacerlo de forma uniforme. Es necesario que tengamos en cuenta que la misma traducción se usa en NaturaLista (México) por lo que deberíamos tenerlo en cuenta.

Tratamos el tema en Portal_talk:Es. En User_talk:Fitoschido#Traducción_de_source_42661 me hicieron notar que existe el locale 'es-formal' para usar el usted (y posiblemente para expresarse de una manera más formal). El tuteo no me parece una falta de respeto, y es más cercano al usuario. Y aunque exista el voseo (y de hecho, yo lo uso), prefiero usar el 'tu' en las traducciones.

Observa en Portal:Es que existe la variante 'es-mx' en el caso de que se necesita una traducción específica para México. Tengo entendido que usan el 'tu', así que no haría falta hacer cambios en este caso. Saludos.

Pues interaremos adaptar todo iNaturalist al tuteo.
