How I do export the entire set of translations with the new version? --Burschik 28. elokuuta 2007 kello 13.40 (UTC)

I want to export translation(s) (to file) from External:FreeCol in language xx in Special:Translate. Please do not forget to update Dutch. I did some work on it.Had already been taken care of. Cheers! Siebrand 28. elokuuta 2007 kello 13.46 (UTC)
Is this an answer to my question? If so, I fail to understand. Could you please offer a more detailed reply? Thanks. Burschik 29. elokuuta 2007 kello 12.17 (UTC)
See screenshots. Good luck :) Siebrand 14:13, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Thank you! Now I understand. Burschik 14:18, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Can't see the original system message

Since the 26.08 update it seems that sometimes, but not always, the original system message in english that I used so much for reference is gone. See Tog-underline/is. I'm using Safari, but I don't think that's the problem. Ideally, I think people should always be able to see a reference message in english when they are editing system messages. --Steinninn 29. elokuuta 2007 kello 02.36 (UTC)

New extension adds &loadgroup=XXX parameter to ease the server load. There is small bug that this parameter may be missing occasionally. – Nike 29. elokuuta 2007 kello 11.01 (UTC)

don't know if this is related, but since the update i'm not able to find the fast-check option anymore

Another change that I don't like, I am used to see the System messages alphabeticly. But now it's only listed in some other change order. Any chance to change that? --Steinninn 29. elokuuta 2007 kello 04.03 (UTC)

It's easy to add sorting in the code, but I don't know how to best place it into the user interface. – Nike 29. elokuuta 2007 kello 11.02 (UTC)
Yes, I miss this feature, too. Why has been changed the translate extension? I didn't find any new feature so far, on the contrary the sorting feature is missing. Regards, --Michawiki 21:26, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Draft of FAQ page started

I have ventured to start drafting a FAQs page for Betawiki based on the problems I have had myself learning how to use this extremely useful wiki. The draft is on User:Lloffiwr/Draft FAQs. Could those who have a lot more experience than I please review this to see whether the facts are correct and whether you think it would be of any use to anyone? I am sure there are also a lot more FAQs that could be added too - my draft is really only a start. Also, I don't know what namespace to put this on if it is approved. Perhaps an admin or experienced user could help me with setting it up in the right place? Lloffiwr 23:11, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

I think it's rather confusing to read trough all this. I'd rather work on Translating:Intro to make it understandable rather then building another page with what-seems-to-be the same goal. But I'm with you on the fact that I was kind of learning on my own first when I came here. --Steinninn 03:13, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Your point is taken that the draft FAQs are clumsily written and made up of bits and pieces of this and that. Does your comment mean that you or others are working on expanding the introductory help pages now? If so, I am quite happy to leave well alone and just leave the draft FAQs where they are - perhaps whoever is expanding the help can use my notes to remind them of points that are currently missing from the help pages? Lloffiwr 16:07, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, not that I know of. --Steinninn 16:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Review all translations of one message

I noticed a bug in the Icelandic MediaWiki:Addedwatchtext. I thought I'd fix all the other languages with a similar bug. Can you think of a feature where this can easley be done? --Steinninn 15:36, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Fallback not reported, but English

The extension does not appear to work with the defined fallback language, but always with English. It should work with the fallback language(s) in the defined order. Siebrand 16:52, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Betawiki:General disclaimer is empty

Anybody to fill the "Disclaimers" ? Sherbrooke 11:20, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I have created the page. --Meno25 21:47, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Sweet. We'll be a real wiki one day ;) Siebrand 22:13, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
